The
number of accessories available for hot tubs is truly amazing. Every
time I look at a magazine or website on hot tubs and home spas, I
discover a new line of accessories.
Some of the products coming out on the market are fascinating. I bought
my hot tub only two years ago and thought I was getting the top of the
line. Until recently, I thought it was the Cadillac of hot tubs! Some of
the hot tubs being made now tell me different.
For example, the lighting system in my hot tub is simple. My tub has a
basic underwater spotlight with interchangeable filters that let me
change the color of the water. Now I’d like to upgrade to one of the new
multi-color automated systems. I’ve also seen hot tubs with dazzling
fiber optics embedded in the stairs and railings.
I’m keen on installing a stereo system in my spa, as a friend of mine
recently bought a new spa that came with a surround sound system
embedded in the shell of the tub. It was incredible! Apparently, you can
feel the sound as well as hear it. Her system came with a marine-grade
CD player in a water-resistant case. Now I’m longing to have music to
accompany me during my evening soak.
Apparently I’m not the only one who spends many hours every week in the
spa. The latest and greatest in hot tub accessories is the inclusion of
large-screen LCD TVs. A recent in-store demonstration left me totally
impressed with the simplicity and ease of using these TVs. Imagine a
floating, waterproof remote! With the click of a button on the remote,
the TV magically appeared from the edge of the tub. With the TV hooked
up to your satellite or cable TV feed, you can watch your favorite
programs in the comfort of your hot tub. Just amazing!
If you’re planning to buy a new hot tub or spa, be sure to shop around
and compare prices and accessories. Many new options are available for
your spa, and you can find some great deals, too. Buy your hot tub from
a reputable dealer, and request to do a wet test before buying! Buy the
best tub you can afford, and get all of the options you want to make
your hot tub experience the best it can be. Then splash away!
Always consult a doctor. The opinion above is
just that, an opinion. |
